Aranza Lailu Benítez Ellis
Aranza (born September 27, 1971) is a Mexican singer, known for her work in TV Azteca with singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero and for interpreting ''Dime'', the theme song for Mirada de Mujer, one of the most successful Mexican telenovelas of all time. Beginnings in Televisa Grupo Zarabanda Since childhood, Aranza was always interested in becoming a singer, much because her father was a professional singer. Her parents supported her and encouraged her to take singing classes, and at the age of 10, with the company of her father, Aranza sang at a live presentation in Chihuahua. Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz (born February 15, 1968), known professionally as Gloria Trevi, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for her emotional lyrics, performances, and lasting influence on Latin music, being dubbed the "Honorific nicknames in popular music, Mexican Queen of Pop" by ''Rolling Stone''. José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz (17 February 1948 – 28 September 2019), known professionally as José José, was a Mexican singer. La Academia
''La Academia'' (''The Academy'') is a Mexican reality musical talent television series shown on TV Azteca, that premiered in June 2002 and is currently in its thirteenth installment. Although the show itself is not affiliated with the Endemol franchise, which includes the " Star Academy" shows, it does share the competition format of many of the variants of the global franchise. Over the first seasons, the show was a reliable dominator of its time-slot, which was shown by its triumph over Televisa's ''Operación Triunfo Mexico'', in several countries including Chile, Peru and Venezuela. ''Desafío de Estrellas'' is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second largest network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to ''American Idol'' with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize.
