Araklı (from Greek "Ηράκλεια" - ''Erakleia'') is a municipality and district of Trabzon Province, Turkey. Its area is 464 km2, and its population is 48,581 (2022). The mayor is Recep Çebi ( AKP). It is also claimed that the name "Araklı" is derived from 'Arakale', "the castle in the middle" in Turkish. Araklı Arena
Araklı Arena () is an indoor volleyball venue located in Araklı town of Trabzon Province, Turkey. Built in 2006, the arena has a capacity of 500 spectators. In 2007, the venue hosted the 1st Black Sea Games. Volleyball matches for boys were played at this arena during the 2011 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival. Trabzon Province () is a Provinces of Turkey, province and Metropolitan municipalities in Turkey, metropolitan municipality of Turkey on the Black Sea coast.
