Antonietta Gonsalvus
Antonietta (Tognina) Gonsalvus, also ''Gonzalves'' or ''Conzales'' (born around 1572–1580 in France) was a so-called ''monkey girl''. She became famous for suffering (like her Petrus Gonsalvus, father and three of her five brothers) from hypertrichosis (a Birth defect, congenital disease). Her family is considered to be the oldest case of human excessive hair growth described in Europe. Antonietta's death year is not known but she supposedly died in Capodimonte, Lazio, Capodimonte (Viterbo), Italy, where her father also died. Life and family Antonietta has been depicted in various paintings and prints both as a little girl and as a young woman and has become known under the name Tognina. Lavinia Fontana
Lavinia Fontana (24 August 1552–11 August 1614) was an Italian Mannerist painter active in Bologna and Rome. She is best known for her successful portraiture, but also worked in the genres of mythology and religious painting. She was trained by her father, Prospero Fontana. She is regarded as the first female career artist in Western Europe, as she relied on commissions for her income. Her family relied on her career as a painter, and her husband served as her agent and raised their 11 children. She was perhaps the first female artist to paint female nudes, but this is a topic of controversy among art historians. Soragna (Parmigiano: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Parma of northern Italy with a population of about 4,800. The town is known from 712, when it was mentioned in a document by the Lombard king Liutprand. Isabella Pallavicini
Isabella Pallavicini (died 1286), sometimes Jezebel, was sovereign marchioness of Bodonitsa from 1278 to 1286. She succeeded her brother Ubertino and also inherited her elder sister Mabilia's Italian possessions in Parma. The three were the only children of the first margrave Guy. In 1278, the year of her succession, Isabella was requested by her new lord, Charles of Anjou, to do homage to his new ''bailli'' at Glarentsa.
