Annie Bergman
Annie Bergman (15 December 1889 - 11 January 1987) was a Swedish artist, writer, and children's book author. Early life and education Annie Bergman was born on 15 December 1889 in Liège, Belgium to Ingeborg Billquist and William Bergman. Her mother was from Gothenburg and was artistic. Her father was an artillery lieutenant who invented and produced weapons in the late nineteenth century. The Bergman family spent a short time in Paris then moved to Stockholm, William Bergman's home town. Bergman finished secondary education in 1907, then undertook preparatory art courses at Tekniska skolan and at Caleb Althin's painting school. Both parents encouraged her interest in art and supported her choice of career. In 1908 she began a four year course of study at Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm. Liège
Liège ( , , ; wa, Lîdje ; nl, Luik ; german: Lüttich ) is a major city and municipality of Wallonia and the capital of the Belgian province of Liège. The city is situated in the valley of the Meuse, in the east of Belgium, not far from borders with the Netherlands ( Maastricht is about to the north) and with Germany (Aachen is about north-east). Posten Bring formerly named Posten Norge () is the name of the Norwegian postal service. The company, owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications had a monopoly until 2016 on distribution of letters weighing less than 50g throughout the country. There are 30 post offices in Norway, in addition to 1400 outlets in retail stores. History Posten was founded in January 1647 as Postvesenet ("the postal system") by general post master Henrik Morian. It was established as a private company, and King Christian IV gave his blessing to the founding of the company. Postvesenet was privately run until 1719, when the state took over. From that point on, national postal service was a state monopoly. Albertina
The Albertina is a museum in the Innere Stadt (First District) of Vienna, Austria. It houses one of the largest and most important print rooms in the world with approximately 65,000 drawings and approximately 1 million old master prints, as well as more modern graphic works, photographs and architectural drawings. Apart from the graphics collection the museum has recently acquired on permanent loan two significant collections of Impressionist and early 20th-century art, some of which will be on permanent display. The museum also houses temporary exhibitions. Nationalmuseum (or National Museum of Fine Arts) is the national gallery of Sweden, located on the peninsula Blasieholmen in central Stockholm. Ida Von Plomgren
Ida Amalia von Plomgren (9 September 1870 – 26 March 1960) was a Swedish feminist, writer and administrator, and one of the first Swedish women's foil fencing champions. She was best known to friends by her nickname "Plom". Early life Ida Amalia von Plomgren was born on 9 September 1870 in the Måstena manor house in Södermanland County, Sweden, owned by her paternal von Plomgren family since 1755. She was the youngest daughter of Baroness Lotten von Plomgren (née Liljencrantz) and Colonel Erland von Plomgren. Her maternal aunt was Jaquette Liljencrantz, a Swedish born Danish writer, journalist, Women's rights activist and socialist. Career Ida von Plomgren was employed at the Fredrika Bremer Association's (Fredrika Bremer-förbundet) office in 1900.
