Anne Dalton
Anne Dalton (born 22 May 1988; legally spelled Ann Dalton) is a camogie player. She was an All-Ireland winning medalist in 2016, and won five Camogie All Stars, camogie All Star awards in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2017. She played in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship 2009, 2009 All Ireland camogie final. Career An Ashbourne Cup medal-winner with Waterford IT in 2009, 2010 Ashbourne Cup, 2010, and 2011 she has won All-Ireland Minor and National League titles with Kilkenny. Described as a "stylish captain" in the programme notes for the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship 2009, 2009 All Ireland final she has collected three All-Irelands in succession 2004, 2005, and 2006, four Leinsters and six county crowns with her club St. Lachtain's GAA, St. Lachtain's, and has provincial titles at inter-county level in Under-14, Under-16 (three) and Under-18 (four). Camogie All Stars
The Camogie All Star Awards are awarded every year to players of the Irish stick and ball team sport of camogie, picked in the 15 traditional positions on the field of play: that is, goalkeeper, three full-backs, three half-backs, two midfields, three half-forwards and three full-forwards. The scheme originated as an independent initiative sponsored by a hotel group, and those picks were made in 2003. The Camogie Association became involved in 2004. The 2009 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship—known as the Gala All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship for sponsorship reasons— was the high point of the 2009 season in the sport of camogie. It commenced on 20 June 2009 and ended with the final on 13 September 2009. Eight teams competed in the Senior Championship out of twenty-seven who competed overall in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships. The Ashbourne Cup is an Irish camogie tournament played each year to determine the national champion university or third level college. The Ashbourne Cup is the highest division in inter-collegiate camogie. 2010 Ashbourne Cup
The 2010 Ashbourne Cup inter-collegiate camogie championship was staged at the Cork IT sports complex in Bishopstown, Cork , Munster province, Ireland over the weekend of 20–21 February. It was won by Waterford Institute of Technology who defeated University College Cork in the final by two points, a repeat of the pairing and result, though not the margin of victory, of the 1999 final. Player of the tournament was WIT's Katrina Parrock. The final Waterford led 0-3 to 0-2 at half-time and extended their lead before Denise Cronin's 37th-minute goal for UCC, dispossessing Redmond and soloing from halfway and unleashing a shot from just outside the 20m line.
