Ann-Katrin Berger
Ann-Katrin Berger (born 9 October 1990) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for English club Chelsea and the Germany national team. Early life At the age of four, Berger began playing football in the KSG Eislingen. As a teenager, she moved to FV Faurndau. She played as a striker, midfielder and defender and only switched to the goal at the age of 16, because she became "lazy to run," and "has grown" again. Club career In 2007, she moved up to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. A year later, Berger moved to second division side, VfL Sindelfingen. In the summer of 2011, Berger signed a three-year contract with 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the Frauen-Bundesliga, the top division in Germany. Thyroid Cancer
Thyroid cancer is cancer that develops from the tissues of the thyroid gland. It is a disease in which cells grow abnormally and have the potential to spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms can include swelling or a lump in the neck. Cancer can also occur in the thyroid after spread from other locations, in which case it is not classified as thyroid cancer. Risk factors include radiation exposure at a young age, having an enlarged thyroid, and family history. The four main types are papillary thyroid cancer, follicular thyroid cancer, medullary thyroid cancer, and anaplastic thyroid cancer. Diagnosis is often based on ultrasound and fine needle aspiration. Screening people without symptoms and at normal risk for the disease is not recommended as of 2017. The 2013–14 season of the Frauen-Bundesliga was the 24th season of Germany's premier women's football league. The season began on 7 September 2013 and concluded on 8 June 2014. The 2012–13 season of the Frauen-Bundesliga was the 23rd season of Germany's premier women's football league. The season began on 1 September 2012 and ended on 12 May 2013. Turbine Potsdam were the defending champions. The title was won by VfL Wolfsburg for the first time. Turbine Potsdam finished in second place and qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League. Duisburg and Bad Neuenahr went into administration during the season. As a result, Bad Neuenahr decided to withdraw from the league, sparing Sindelfingen from relegation. Judan Ali (born 8 May 1986) is an English technical director of football and former footballer and coach. Ali went on to feature for clubs Arsenal, Barcelona and Murcia in his playing career. Ali is the first BAME British National to hold a position of technical director for a FIFA Member Association. Early life and career Ali was born in Brick Lane, Tower Hamlets, London. Emma Carol Hayes (born 18 October 1976) is an English professional football manager. She is currently the manager of FA WSL club Chelsea Women. She previously served as the head coach and director of football operations for Chicago Red Stars of Women's Professional Soccer in the United States from 2008 until 24 May 2010. The 2018–19 FA WSL was the eighth edition of the FA Women's Super League (WSL) since it was formed in 2010. It was the first season after a rebranding of the four highest levels in English women's football.
