"Animal" is a song by Spanish singer-songwriter Álvaro Soler. It was written by Soler, Simon Triebel, Rune Westberg and Rune Westberg for the reissue of his debut studio album ''Eterno agosto'' (2015). Production was overseen by Triebel, Westberg, and Zuchowski. Released as the album's fifth and final single in February 2017, it reached number seven on the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry, Polish Airplay Top 100, while peaking at number 22 on the Ultratip , Ultratip Bubbling Under in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Álvaro Tauchert Soler (, ; born 9 January 1991) is a Spanish singer. He rose to prominence across Europe and Latin America with his 2015 hit " El mismo sol", primarily achieving success in Italy, Switzerland and Mexico. A special bilingual Spanish-English version of "El mismo sol", featuring Jennifer Lopez, was also recorded for international release in the United States, in the United Kingdom, and worldwide. His follow up single "Sofia" in 2016 also achieved chart success in European countries, reaching number 1 in Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium and Switzerland. The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (; ZPAV) is the trade organization that represents the interests of the music industry in Poland, and the Polish chapter of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
