Angus MacLane
Angus MacLane (born April 13, 1975) is an American animator, filmmaker and voice actor, best known for his work at Pixar, Pixar Animation Studios. He co-directed the film ''Finding Dory'' (2016) and made his solo feature directorial debut with the ''Toy Story (franchise), Toy Story'' spin-off (media), spin-off film ''Lightyear (film), Lightyear'' (2022). MacLane is also a Lego enthusiast and created the CubeDudes building format and designed a LEGO WALL-E (character), WALL-E that has become an official set from The Lego Group. Early life and education Angus MacLane was born on April 13, 1975, in Riverside County, California, but grew up in Portland, Oregon. ''BURN-E'' (stylized with an interpunct as ''BURN·E'') is a 2008 American animated short film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It is tied into and included with the DVD and Blu-ray of ''WALL-E''. The titular repair robot is a minor character from the movie, and this short is intercut with scenes from ''WALL-E'', which takes place concurrently. ''One Man Band'' is a 2005 Pixar animated musical comedy short film. It debuted at the 29th Annecy International Animated Film Festival in Annecy, France, and won the Platinum Grand Prize at the Future Film Festival in Bologna, Italy. It was shown with the theatrical release of ''Cars''. It was written and directed by Andrew Jimenez and Mark Andrews and produced by Osnat Shurer, head of Pixar's Shorts group.
