The following is a list of characters that first appeared on the show in 2007, by order of first appearance. All characters were introduced by the show's executive producer Ric Pellizzeri. The 23rd season of ''Neighbours'' began airing from 8 January 2007. That month saw both Ringo Brown and Oliver Barnes introduced as brothers of established characters. ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera that has aired since 18 March 1985. It was created by television executive Reg Watson. The Seven Network commissioned the show following the success of Watson's earlier soap '' Sons and Daughters''. Although successful in Melbourne, ''Neighbours'' underperformed in the Sydney market and was cancelled by Seven four months after it began airing. It was immediately commissioned by rival Network Ten for a second production season, which began screening on 20 January 1986. ''Neighbours'' became the longest-running drama series in Australian television history. In 2005, it was inducted into the Logie Hall of Fame. Justin Scott Parker Hunter (born May 20, 1991) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers football, Tennessee Volunteers. Hunter was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft. Hunter spent three seasons with the Titans before being released prior to the 2016 season. During the 2016 regular season, Hunter played in one game with the Miami Dolphins before spending most of the season with the Buffalo Bills. Frazer Yeats
Frazer Yeats is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Ben Lawson. The character was introduced into the serial as part of a group of four characters branded as "20 somethings". He debuted in the episode airing on 12 October 2006. He departed the serial 25 April 2008 after Lawson quit. He was central to notable storylines such as gambling, paralysis, pseudocyesis and causing the accidental death of his younger brother as a minor. ''Dolly'' (stylised in all-caps) was an Australian bimonthly teen magazine started in 1970 by Fairfax Ltd. in Australia and New Zealand, and purchased by ACP in 1988. The magazine became an online-only publication, and the print edition ceased, in December 2016. In June 2020, the magazine was purchased from the Bauer Media Group by Mercury Capital. Marco Silvani is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Jesse Rosenfeld. He made his first on-screen appearance on 19 October 2007. Marco began a relationship with a pregnant Carmella Cammeniti, which caused tensions between himself and the baby's father, Oliver Barnes. Marco later asked Carmella to marry him and on the same day, he was injured in a bush fire. Marco died from his injuries shortly after and he departed on-screen on 2 July 2008.
