Andre Savelio
Andre Savelio (born ) is a rugby league footballer who plays for Goole Vikings in RFL League 1, on loan from Doncaster RLFC in the RFL Championship. He previously played for St Helens, on loan from the Saints at the Castleford Tigers in the Super League. He played for the Warrington Wolves, and on loan from the Super League side at the Rochdale Hornets in the Championship. He spent the 2018 and part of 2019 NRL season at the Brisbane Broncos, but did not feature in the National Rugby League (NRL) due to serious injury. Early life Savelio was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, and raised in Warrington, England, having moved there as a one-year-old when his father, Samoa international Lokeni Savelio, started playing in the Super League. Lower Hutt, New Zealand
Lower Hutt () is a city in the Wellington Region of New Zealand. Administered by the Hutt City Council, it is one of the four cities that constitute the Wellington metropolitan area. It is New Zealand's sixth most populous city, with a population of . The total area administered by the council is around the lower half of the Hutt Valley and along the eastern shores of Wellington Harbour, of which is urban. It is separated from the city of Wellington by the harbour, and from Upper Hutt by the Taita Gorge. Super League XXVIII
Super League XXVIII, known as the 2023 Betfred Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the 28th season of the Super League and 129th season of rugby league in Great Britain. The season began on 16 February 2023, and ended with the Grand Final on 14 October 2023. St Helens were the reigning champions after winning their 4th successive title, beating Leeds Rhinos in the 2022 Grand Final. They were eliminated in the semi final, losing 6–12 to Catalans Dragons. Leigh Leopards were immediately promoted back to Super League, after they beat Batley Bulldogs 44–12 in the 2022 Championship Grand Final. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. 2021 Super League Season
Super League XXVI, known as the 2021 Betfred Super League XXVI for sponsorship reasons, was the 26th season of the Super League and 127th season of rugby league in Great Britain. The 2021 season was originally scheduled to begin on 11 March 2021, however, on 14 January 2021, it was announced that all clubs had agreed to push the start date back by two weeks, to increase the chances of fans being able to attend matches. St Helens were the reigning champions going into Super League XXVI, after successfully retaining their title against Wigan Warriors, in the Grand Final. Tony Clubb (born 12 June 1987) is a former English professional rugby league footballer who played as a for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League and has played for England at international level. He is currently assistant coach at Leigh Leopards. He played for London under the guises of Harlequins RL and the London Broncos in the Super League.
