''Andragogy'' ( id, Budi Pekerti) is a 2023 drama film written and directed by Wregas Bhanuteja. The film stars Sha Ine Febriyanti as a school teacher whose reputation and career prospects get jeopardized after a video of her confronting a line-cutter goes viral. ''Andragogy'' had its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September 2023. The film garnered seventeen nominations at the 2023 Indonesian Film Festival, including Best Picture, and it won two awards for Best Actress (Febriyanti) and Best Supporting Actress (Latuconsina). Wregas Bhanuteja
Raphael Wregas Bhanuteja is an Indonesian film director and screenwriter. In 2016, Wregas became the first Indonesian director to win an award at Cannes Film Festival, for his short film '' Prenjak''. Biography Wregas Bhanuteja was born in Yogyakarta and learned short film making in De Britto College High School Yogyakarta. After graduating high school in 2010, he attended the Faculty of Film and TV, Jakarta Institute of Arts, majoring in film directing. During his study, Wregas produced several short films, including ''Senyawa'' (2012), shot on 16 mm celluloid film. 2023 Jakarta Film Week
The 2023 Jakarta Film Week, the third edition of the film festival Jakarta Film Week, was held on 25 to 29 October 2023. The festival opened with Wregas Bhanuteja's film '' Andragogy'', and closed with Amanda Nell Eu's body horror film '' Tiger Stripes''. It was held in-person around Central Jakarta at the CGV Grand Indonesia, Ashley Hotel, Kineforum Ismail Marzuki Park and a new venue: Galeri Indonesia Kaya, also located at Grand Indonesia.
