''Anbulla Appa'' () is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar for AVM Productions. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Nadhiya and Rahman. This was Tirulokchandar's last directorial venture before his retirement from films. Plot The story deals with the deep bond between a father played by Shivaji Ganesan and daughter played by Nadiya which causes trouble post her marriage because of the daughter Nadiya prioritizing her relationship with her father over her husband. AVM Productions is an Indian film production studio founded by A. V. Meiyappan. It is the final oldest survived studio in India. The filming studios are located in Vadapalani, Chennai. It has produced over 300 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi cinema. Manorama (Tamil Actress)
Gopishantha (26 May 1937 – 10 October 2015), better known by her stage name Manorama, also called Aachi, was an Indian actress, playback singer and comedian who had appeared in more than 1000 films and 5000 stage performances and several television series predomninantely in the Tamil language until 2015. She was a recipient of the Kalaimamani award. In 2002, Government of India awarded Manorama the Padma Shri for her contribution to the arts. She received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film ''Pudhiya Padhai'' (1989) and Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South (1995). Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film '' Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist. He has also been honored with a Padma Shri, a Padma Bhushan and a Sahitya Akademi Award, for his abundant literary output. Jai Ganesh (1946 – 11 February 2001) was an Indian Tamil film actor. He had supporting roles in the films '' Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' and ''Attukara Alamelu'', among others. His most popular roles have been as a supporting actor or as a villain in films such as ''Thaayillamal Naan Illai'' (1979) and ''Athisaya Piravi'' (1990).
