Koninklijke Grolsch N.V. (; "Royal Grolsch"), known simply as Grolsch, is a Dutch brewery founded in 1615 by Willem Neerfeldt in Groenlo. In 1895, the de Groen family bought the brewery. They had started their own brewery in Enschede in the early 19th century and held a significant stake until 2007. Today the main brewery is in Enschede. It was awarded the ''Koninklijk'' (Royal) title in 1995. Grolsch became part of the SABMiller group in 2008. Some stock exchanges allow shares of a foreign company to be listed and may allow dual listing, subject to conditions. InBev () was a brewing company that resulted from the merger between Belgium-based company Interbrew and Brazilian brewer AmBev which took place in 2004. A cartel is a group of independent market participants who collaborate with each other as well as agreeing not to compete with each other in order to improve their profits and dominate the market. Enschede Fireworks Disaster
The Enschede fireworks disaster was a catastrophic fireworks explosion on 13 May 2000 in Enschede, Netherlands. The explosion killed 23 people including four firefighters and injured 950 others. A total of 400 homes were destroyed and 1,500 buildings were subsequently damaged. The first explosion had a strength in the order of , while the strength of the final explosion was in the range of . The biggest blast was felt as far as the city of Deventer, away. Fire crews were called in from across the border in Germany to help battle the blaze; it was brought under control by the end of the day. S.E. Sleeman Breweries is a Japanese-owned Canadian brewery founded by John Warren Sleeman in 1988 in Guelph, Ontario. The company is the third-largest brewing company in Canada.
