Amin Dora
Amin Dora ( ar, أمين درة, born 1980 in Zahle, Lebanon) is a film director, visual artist and professor at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts. In 2010, he directed the first Arabic web drama series, '' Shankaboot'', winner of the Digital Emmy Award. Career Dora's film career began with his stop motion animated short film '' Greyscale'', which won the audience award at the Zinebi - Bilbao International Documentary and Short Film Festival. In 2011, he won a Digital Emmy Award for '' Shankaboot'', the world's first Arabic web series. Composed of 5-minute episodes, the series explores ways of portraying real life in Beirut through the eyes of 15-year-old delivery boy. His next project, '' Undocumented: Bidune Kaid'', is an interactive drama specifically designed for social media and internet viewing. L'Orient-Le Jour
''L'Orient-Le Jour'' () is a leading French-language daily newspaper in Lebanon. History ''L'Orient-Le Jour'' was first published on 15 June 1971, following the merger of two French language Lebanese dailies, ''L'Orient'' (founded in Beirut in 1924 by Gabriel Khabbaz and Georges Naccache) and ''Le Jour'' (founded in 1934 by Michel Chiha). Between 1970 and 1975 one of the contributors was Samir Frangieh. During the Lebanese Civil War the paper was closed down by the occupying Syrian Army for a brief period in 1976 but the paper resumed publication after. Arabiya ( ar, العربية, transliterated: '; meaning "The Arabic One" or "The Arab One") is an international Arabic news television channel, currently based in Dubai, that is operated by the media conglomerate MBC. Murex D'Or
The Murex d'Or (also known as the Golden Murex award) is a Lebanese award created by two Lebanese physicians, Zahi and Fadi Helou to recognize achievements in the domain of art in Lebanon, the Arab region and the world.
