Wang Chunyu ( zh, s=王淳煜, p=Wáng Chúnyù; born April 7, 1997), better known as Ame, is a Chinese professional ''Dota 2'' player for PSG.LGD. Career Ame started his Dota 2 career by joining the youth squad of CDEC Gaming, the following year he moved to LGD Gaming. They would go on to their first tier 1 tournament win at Mars Dota 2 League 2017 followed by a 4th place finish at The International 2017. 2018-2019 Throughout 2018, Ame and his team had multiple tournament wins and were considered one of the favourites for winning TI8, eventually they lost to OG in the grandfinals in 5 games, followed by a 3rd place finish at TI9 next year. 2020-2021 After TI9, Ame was moved back to CDEC Gaming, which was also owned by PSG.LGD. ''Dota 2'' is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game by Valve. The game is a sequel to '' Defense of the Ancients'' (''DotA''), a community-created mod for Blizzard Entertainment's '' Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.'' CDEC Gaming is a Chinese professional ''Dota 2'' esports team based in Shanghai. The team placed second at The International 2015, which they qualified for with a wildcard. The achievement was considered a major upset. At TI CDEC also won their group stage and beat LGD Gaming and eventual winners Evil Geniuses in bracket. CDEC is an abbreviation for Chinese Dota Elite Community. History On April 25, 2014, LGD Gaming announced that they would form a youth team called LGD.CDEC. They were named CDEC after the 'Chinese Dota Elite Community', an inhouse league, and the team largely consisted of young talent from that league. EHOME is a Chinese ''Dota 2'' team. The team was founded in 2004 which consist of Warcraft III and Counter-Strike teams. The ''Defense of the Ancients, Dota'' division was started in 2007. EHOME is one of the most successful ''Dota'' teams of all time. LGD Gaming is a Chinese professional esports organization based in Hangzhou. It is one of the oldest esports organizations in China and currently has players competing in ''Dota 2'', ''Honor of Kings'', ''League of Legends'', ''Overwatch'', and ''PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds''.
