Team Spirit (esports)
Team Spirit is an international esports organization based in Belgrade. Founded in 2015, the organization currently has teams competing in ''Counter-Strike 2'', ''Dota 2'', ''Hearthstone'', '' Pubg Mobile'' and '' Mobile Legends: Bang Bang''. Their ''Dota 2'' squad won two iterations of The International (2021 and 2023), the former event in which the organisation received the largest single prize money payout in esports history at $18 million. In 2022, as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the organization relocated from Moscow to Belgrade, Serbia. ''Counter-Strike'' Major Championships, commonly known as the Majors, are '' Counter-Strike'' (CS) esports tournaments sponsored by Valve, the game's developer. The first Valve-recognized Major took place in 2013 in Jönköping, Sweden and was hosted by DreamHack with a total prize pool of split among 16 teams. Blast Premier (stylized as BLAST Premier) is a ''Counter-Strike 2'' (CS2) (previously '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'') professional esports league launched in 2020. It is primarily based in two regions: North America and Europe. The Danish esports organisation, RFRSH Entertainment, announced the series as a successor to the BLAST Pro Series in 2019. Vladislav Artemiev
Vladislav Mikhailovich Artemiev (; born 5 March 1998) is a Russian chess grandmaster and former chess prodigy. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster in 2014. Artemiev is the 2019 European Chess Champion. He won the individual board performance gold medal as well as team gold medal at World Team Chess Championship 2019. He participated in Chess World Cup 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021 where he was knocked out in the round of 16 by Sergey Karjakin. Chess career Artemiev started playing chess at the age of seven. He won the bronze medal in the Under 14 division of the European Youth Chess Championships in 2011.
