Alvik Metro Station
Alvik metro station is a station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro, and on the Tvärbanan and Nockebybanan lines of Stockholm tramways. It is located on the border between the districts of Traneberg and Alvik, which are part of the borough of Bromma in the west of the city of Stockholm. The station is one of the intermediate termini along the northern section of the Green line, with line 18 trains normally terminating, and is also the terminus of the Nockebybanan. Alvik station has tracks on two levels, both above ground. The higher level has two island platforms aligned east-west and serving four tracks. The outer pair of tracks are through tracks used by metro trains, whilst the inner pair of tracks are used to terminate Nockebybanan trams, thus providing cross-platform interchange between the Nockebybanan and metro. The Green Line () is the oldest of the three Stockholm Metro lines. Ulvsunda is a district in Bromma in western Stockholm, just east of Stockholm Bromma Airport, built around Ulvsunda Castle, a 17th-century castle. Hötorget Metro Station
Hötorget, formerly known as Kungsgatan, is an underground station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro. It is situated near to the Hötorget square in the borough of Norrmalm in central Stockholm, and lies below Sveavägen between its junctions with and . Islandstorget
Islandstorget is a station in the Stockholm metro on the Green line. It is located in the district of Södra Ängby, which is part of the borough of Bromma in the west of the city of Stockholm. The station is above ground with a single island platform. The entrance is from Blackebergsvägen, which passes over the line. A cross-platform interchange is a type of Interchange station, interchange between different lines at a metro (or other railway) station. The term originates with the London Underground; such layouts exist in other networks but are not commonly so named. In the United States and Canada, it is often referred to as a cross-platform transfer. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange.
