Alvdal IL
Alvdal Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club from Alvdal, founded in 1902. It has sections for association football, Nordic skiing, biathlon, orienteering, team handball and volleyball. Famous skiers include Embret Mellesmo, Per Samuelshaug, Ottar Gjermundshaug, Oddmund Jensen, Erling Bjørn, Kristian Bjørn, Per Bjørn and Torgeir Bjørn. The club became Norwegian relay champion in 1958 and 1959. Former football players include Harald Stormoen and Per Gunnar Dalløkken. Alvdal
Alvdal is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Alvdal. Other villages include Barkald, Plassmoen, and Strømmen. The municipality is located to the south of Tynset, north and west of Rendalen, north of Stor-Elvdal, and east of Folldal. The Rørosbane railway and the Norwegian National Road 3 both pass through Alvdal. The municipality is the 124th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Oddmund Jensen
Oddmund Ingvald Jensen (26 September 1928 – 6 March 2011) was a Norwegian cross-country skier and coach. He was born in Sørfold, but represented Alvdal IL. He participated at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in 30 and 50 km, and at the 1960 Winter Olympics The 1960 Winter Olympics (officially the VIII Olympic Winter Games and also known as Squaw Valley 1960) were a winter multi-sport event held from February 18 to 28, 1960, at the Squaw Valley Resort (now known as Palisades Tahoe) in Squaw Valle ... in Squaw Valley. Per Gunnar Dalløkken (born 28 January 1965) is a retired Norwegian football midfielder. He started his career in Folldal IL, and then played for Alvdal IL. He signed for Kongsvinger IL just after the 1985 season. He played only 2 Norwegian Premier League in 1986, but was then ever-present in the seasons 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1995. Harald Stormoen (footballer)
Harald Stormoen (born 6 October 1980) is a retired Norwegian footballer, that played for Kongsvinger and Sogndal as a midfielder. Career Stormoen was born in Alvdal and played for Alvdal IL while also playing for Norwegian youth national teams. He joined Kongsvinger IL in 1998, and played in the Norwegian Premier League in 1998 and 1999, before the team was relegated. Stormoen played a total of 189 league games for the club. Stormoen joined second-tier team Sogndal in ahead of the 2008 season. After playing 27 matches for the club in the First Division, Stormoen decided to retire after the 2010 season.
