Allan Wanga
Allan Wetende Wanga (born 26 November 1985 in Kisumu) is a Kenyan footballer who currently plays for Kakamega Homeboyz in the Kenya Premier League as a striker, where he also is the sporting director. His dream of playing in the UEFA Europa League was not realised with Azerbaijan Premier League side FC Baku, as he failed to obtain a work permit after working out a 2-year contract with the club, which ended on 31 December 2009. Club career Youth years Allan Wanga started playing while at primary school. As a youth, he also played at various age levels for now defunct Kisumu based football club known as FIFA Kingdom. Kisumu
Kisumu ( ) is the third-largest city in Kenya located in the Lake Victoria area in the former Nyanza Province. It is the second-largest city after Kampala in the Lake Victoria Basin. The city has a population of slightly over 600,000. Chemelil is a town in Kisumu County, Kenya. It is part of Muhoroni District. Chemelil has a railway station along the Nairobi-Kisumu Railway line between the stations of Kibigori and Muhoroni. The town is located 40 kilometres east of Kisumu, the county capital. Muhoroni, another town, is located 10 kilometres east of Chemelil. Chemelil is home to '' Chemelil Sugar Company''. Floribert Tambwe Ndayisaba (born 12 August 1989) is a Burundian footballer, who currently plays for Bidco United. Club career Ndayisaba began his career with Chanic FC before signing for Vital'O F.C. in 2005. In the summer of 2008 Ndayisaba signed for FK Baku in Azerbaijan, and was part of the squad that won the 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League, although he didn't make a league appearance for Baku. Ndayisaba was signed in June 2012 by A.F.C. Leopards for Sh1.8 million from Rayon Sports on an 18-month contract, before going to Oman with Allan Wanga for a trial with Al-Nasr in January 2013. Metalurgi Rustavi was a Georgian football team based in Rustavi, which has twice won the national league. In Soviet times, the club played under the name "Metalurgi" (Rustavi), then during the independence of Georgia, the club was called "Gorda" (Rustavi) and FC Rustavi. The Kenyan Premier League (KPL), officially known as the FKF Premier League, is a professional league for men's football clubs in Kenya. Standing at the top of the Kenyan football league system, the league was formed in 1963 under the Kenya Football Federation but is now controlled by the Football Kenya Federation. It is contested by 18 clubs and operates on a promotion and relegation system with the Kenyan National Super League. Gor Mahia are the current champions having won the 2023–24 season. The league was mostly stable until the late 1990s and since then its performance had been considered below average, with many of the league's clubs having little or no finances to support themselves.
