All Born Screaming
''All Born Screaming'' is the seventh studio album by American rock musician St. Vincent, released on April 26, 2024, through her own Total Pleasure Records and distributed via Virgin Music Group. The album was self-produced and features musical contributions from several notable artists. It was preceded by three singles: "Broken Man", "Flea" and "Big Time Nothing". The album won three of its four nominations at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song for "Broken Man", and Best Alternative Music Performance for "Flea". A Spanish re-recording of the album, titled '' Todos Nacen Gritando'', was released on November 15, 2024, followed by a special Japanese edition with live bonus tracks. The album debuted at number 86 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 selling 10,000 pure album sales in its first week. Electric Lady Studios is a recording studio in Greenwich Village, New York City. It was commissioned by rock musician Jimi Hendrix in 1968 and designed by architect John Storyk and audio engineer Eddie Kramer. It was completed by 1970. Hendrix spent only ten weeks recording in Electric Lady before Death of Jimi Hendrix, his death that year, but it quickly became a famed studio used by many top-selling recording artists from the 1970s onwards, including Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, and David Bowie. At the turn of the 21st century, Electric Lady served as a home for the innovative Soulquarians collective, but fell into financial hardship and disarray in the 2000s. Dengue Fever is an American band from Los Angeles who combine Cambodian rock and pop music of the 1960s and 70s with psychedelic rock and other world music styles. Their most recent album, ''Ting Mong'', was released in September 2023. History In the late 1990s, keyboardist Ethan Holtzman discovered Cambodian psychedelic rock music while traveling in that country. Coincidentally, his guitarist brother Zac Holtzman (then with the band Dieselhed) had discovered the same music while working at a record store. The band consists of Emily Kokal (vocals, guitar), Theresa Wayman (vocals, guitar), Jenny Lee Lindberg (bass, vocals), and Stella Mozgawa (drums). Stella Mozgawa is an Australian drummer and record producer, best known as a member of the indie rock band Warpaint, with whom she has recorded four studio albums. He is best known for his work with artists such as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, M83, Air, St. Vincent, Wolf Alice, and Deafheaven. The Foo Fighters are an American Rock music, rock band formed in Seattle in 1994.
