"Eternity" is a song by Dutch disc jockeys and producers Armin van Buuren and DJ Tiësto under the alias Alibi. It was released in on 21 June 2000 in the Netherlands on Armind as 12" vinyl and CD single. It is the second single from DJ Tiësto's compilation album '' Magik Five: Heaven Beyond''. The track was supported by Paul van Dyk who played it at Love Parade and decided to sign it on his label Vandit Records. Critical review 16 years after its release, webmedia ''We Rave You'' estimates that "Eternity" is "A beautiful mix of pounding dance-floor driven percussion progressing into a beautiful array of dreamy, melodic sounds, this is one of those tunes that sits as one of the benchmarks in trance and lives long in the memory of fans of the genre. Matthias Paul (; born 16 December 1971), known professionally as Paul van Dyk () is a German DJ, record producer and musician. Van Dyk was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release '' Reflections''. He was the first DJ to be named number one by ''Mixmag'' in 2005. By 2008, he had sold over 3 million albums worldwide. A trance producer starting in the early 1990s, van Dyk quickly achieved popularity with his remix of "Love Stimulation" by Humate on the record label MFS in 1993 and with his hit single " For an Angel". Steve Helstrip, known by the stage name the Thrillseekers, is an English DJ and record producer. His debut single was "Synaesthesia", released in 1999. Helstrip has worked under the guises of En Motion, Insigma, Rapid Eye and Hydra. Vandit Records is a German record label founded in 1999 by Paul van Dyk. Its first release was van Dyk's own tracks "Another Way" and "Avenue". Love Parade
The Love Parade () was an electronic dance music festival and technoparade that originated in 1989 in West Berlin, Germany. It was held annually in Berlin from 1989 to 2003 and in 2006, then from 2007 to 2010 in the Ruhr region. Events scheduled for 2004 and 2005 in Berlin and for 2009 in Bochum were canceled.
