Alexandra Rapaport
Alexandra Susanna Rapaport (born 26 December 1971 in Bromma) is a Swedish film and stage actress. She studied at the Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm, from which she graduated in 1997. She then worked for Uppsala Theatre before becoming engaged by Dramaten in Stockholm, where she is part of the permanent ensemble and has participated a number of classic plays. She has featured in more than 40 feature films and TV series, among them the crime series ''Sandhamn Murders'', '' Gåsmamman'' and ''Heder''. Personal life Her parents were both from Poland. Her father, Edmund Rapaport (1923–2020), was a Polish Jew who fled to Sweden during World War II and became a statistician. Her mother, Ewa Rapaport (1938–1981), was an architect. She and her husband, Joakim Eliasson, had a son in 2007 and a daughter in 2010. ''Morden i Sandhamn'' (English: ''Sandhamn Murders'') is a Swedish television crime drama series. It is based on the books of the same name by writer, Viveca Sten. The series is broadcast on TV4, which has presented eight seasons from 20 December 2010. The series follows Nora Linde ( Alexandra Rapaport), a lawyer who owns a summer house on Sandhamn, and her assistance in solving various murders on or near that island. The Rappaport family (Hebrew: רפפורט; Yiddish: ראפאפארט) is a prominent Kohanic rabbinic family, who are generally considered to possess the oldest and best recorded Kohanic pedigree.
