Al-Karma Sport Club ( ar, نادي الكرمة الرياضي), is an Iraqi football team based in Al-Karmah, Anbar Governorate, Al-Anbar, that plays in the Iraqi Premier Division League. Al-Fallujah Stadium
Al-Fallujah Stadium ( ar, ملعب الفلوجة) is a multi-purpose stadium in Al-Fallujah, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Al-Jolan SC. Opened in February 2022, it has a capacity of 7,000 spectators. History Construction started in 2012 and stopped in December 2013 at 93% completion. The stadium turned then into a shelter for Syrian refugee families who fled to Al-Anbar. The stadium suffered various damages such as the scorching of its turf, the breaking of its seats and the deterioration of several of its compartments. After the relocation of the refugees, the government of Al-Anbar announced in 2021 the restoration of the stadium. Haidar Mahmoud
Haidar Mahmoud Majid ( ar, حيدر محمود مجيد; born 19 September 1973) is an Iraqi football coach and former player. As a player, Mahmoud played as a right-back, representing Iraq in the 1996 and 2000 AFC Asian Cup. He also played club football with Al Zawraa for 10 years. International career Mahmoud scored two goals in a 4–1 win over Thailand in the 1996 Asian Cup, and scored one in the 2000 Asian Cup in Lebanon in a 2–0 win, also over Thailand. Iraqi Premier Division League
The Iraqi Premier Division League ( ar, دوري الدرجة الممتازة العراقي) is the second-highest division of the Iraqi football league system after the Iraq Stars League. The league is contested by 22 clubs and is operated by the Iraq Football Association (IFA). It will be governed by the Iraqi Pro League Association from the 2024–25 season. Each season, the two top-finishing teams in the Premier Division League are automatically promoted to the Stars League. The four lowest-finishing teams are relegated to First Division League. The 2022–23 Iraq Division Two will be the 49th season of the Iraq Division Two, and it is the third tier in the Iraqi football league system since its establishment in 1974. The number of clubs in the league have varied throughout history for various reasons; in this season the number of clubs will be 98 (in addition to 24 pre-qualified teams from the previous season, playing starting from the second round, so the total is 122 teams). Al-Karmah, also sometimes transliterated as Karma, Karmah, or Garma (Iraqi Arabic: الگرمة), is a city in central Iraq, 16 km (10 mi) northeast of Fallujah in the province of Al Anbar. U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq For most of 2005 to 2007, Al-Karmah was considered the most violent city in Iraq. Al Anbar Governorate ( ar, محافظة الأنبار; ''muḥāfaẓat al-’Anbār''), or Anbar Province, is the largest governorate in Iraq by area.
