Al-Kahrabaa
Al-Kahraba'a Sports Club () is an Football in Iraq, Iraqi professional sports club based in Al-Rusafa, Iraq, Rusafa District, Baghdad, and is known for its football team that competes in the Iraq Stars League. History Al-Kahraba'a Sports Club was founded on 21 July 2001 by Saad Abdul Hamed Al-Khatib (who was the first ever chairman) in the Ministry of Electricity (Iraq), Ministry of Electricity. They were promoted to the Iraqi Premier League for the first time for the 2004–05 Iraqi Premier League, 2004–05 season where they remained until they got relegated to the Iraqi Premier Division League, Iraqi First Division League in 2013. They were promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt under coach Shaker Mahmoud, where they have remained since. 2021–22 Iraq FA Cup
The 2021–22 Iraq FA Cup was the 32nd edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup as a club competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football, featuring a record 168 clubs from the top four tiers of the Iraqi football league system, (20 from the Iraqi Premier League, 24 from the Iraqi First Division League and 124 from the Iraqi Second Division League and Iraqi Third Division League). The competition began on 10 September 2021 with the first-round matches involving teams from the third and fourth tiers, and the final was played on 16 July 2022 at Al-Madina Stadium in Baghdad. The winners of the competition were Al-Karkh, who won their first title with a 2–1 victory over Al-Kahrabaa. 2018–19 Iraq FA Cup
The 2018–19 Iraq FA Cup was the 29th edition of the Iraqi knockout association football, football cup as a club competition, the main domestic cup in Football in Iraq, Iraqi football. A total of 20 teams from the Iraqi Premier League and 25 teams from the Iraqi Premier Division League, Iraqi First Division League and Iraqi First Division League, Iraqi Second Division League participated. It started on 12 September 2018 and the final was played on 26 July 2019 at the Al-Shaab Stadium in Baghdad. The winners of the competition were Al-Zawraa, who extended their record number of cup wins to 16 with a 1–0 victory over Al-Kahrabaa, thanks to a late goal by Safaa Hadi. 2022–23 Iraqi Premier League
The 2022–23 Iraqi Premier League was the 49th season of the Iraqi Premier League, the highest tier football league in Iraq, since its establishment in 1974 and the last season under the name Iraqi Premier League. The season started on 9 October 2022 and ended on 21 July 2023. Al-Hudood, Karbala and Duhok joined as the promoted clubs from the 2021–22 Iraqi First Division League, replacing Amanat Baghdad, Al-Minaa and Samarra who were relegated. Ali Jasim Elaibi Al-Tameemi (; born 20 January 2004) is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a forward for Dutch side Almere City FC on loan from the Italian Serie A club Como, and the Iraq national team. 2004–05 Iraqi Premier League
The 2004–05 Iraqi Premier League kicked off on October 20, 2004. The 36 teams were split into four groups. At the end of the group stage, the top three teams from each group (a total of 12 teams) advanced to the Elite Stage, while the bottom three in each group were demoted to the lower division. In the Elite Stage, the 12 teams were split into four groups of three, with teams playing home and away against each team in their group respectively. The top team in each of the four groups moved on to the two-legged semi-finals which determined who played for the championship game; a single match held in Baghdad. 2023–24 Iraq Stars League
The 2023–24 Iraq Stars League was the 50th season of the highest tier football league in Iraq since its establishment in 1974, and the first season since launching as a professional league under the name Iraq Stars League. The season started on 26 October 2023 and ended on 14 July 2024, with the post-season play-offs held from 19–24 July 2024. Al-Shorta won the league title for the third season in a row, sealing the title in the penultimate round of the season by defeating Duhok 1–0. Al-Shorta also won the Iraq FA Cup title to secure the double. 2023–24 AFC Cup
The 2023–24 AFC Cup was the 20th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the final edition under the AFC Cup title, as the competition was revamped under the name ''AFC Champions League Two'' starting in 2024–25. Al-Karkh Sports Club () is an Iraqi sports club based in Karkh, Baghdad. Its professional football team plays in the Iraq Stars League, the top tier of the Iraqi football. The club's home stadium is Al-Saher Ahmed Radhi Stadium. Founded in 1963, Al-Karkh was not successful in reaching the top flight of Iraqi football until Al-Rasheed SC's properties and place in the top division were transferred to Al-Karkh when Al-Rasheed were dissolved in 1990.
