Aku Louhimies
Aku Louhimies (2009) Aku Urban Louhimies (born 3 July 1968) is a Finnish film director and screenwriter. He has directed feature films, documentary films, commercials and music videos. His international breakthrough was the 2016 serial drama ''Rebellion''. He directed and produced the 2017 war film '' The Unknown Soldier'' which is the biggest box office hit since 1955 in Finland. Education Aku graduated from Billings West High School in Montana, U.S. After returning to Helsinki, he studied history at the University of Helsinki, and film directing at University of Art and Design Helsinki in Finland. Väinö Linna (; 20 December 1920 – 21 April 1992) was a Finnish author and a former soldier who fought in the Continuation War (1941–44). Linna gained literary fame with his third novel, ''Tuntematon sotilas'' ( ''The Unknown Soldier'', published in 1954), and consolidated his position with the trilogy ''Täällä Pohjantähden alla'' ('' Under the North Star'', published in 1959–1963 and translated into English by Richard Impola). Juhani Aho, originally Johannes Brofeldt (11 September 1861 – 8 August 1921), was a Finnish author and journalist. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature sixteen times.
