Akkaa Päälle
''Akkaa päälle'' is a Finnish comedy television series broadcast from 1994 to 2006 on MTV3. The series is directed by Anitta Pankkonen and written by Taneli Mäkelä and Pirkka-Pekka Petelius. MTV3
MTV3 ( fi, MTV Kolme, sv, MTV Tre) is a Finnish commercial television station. It had the biggest audience share of all Finnish TV channels until Yle TV1 (from Yle) took the lead. The letters MTV stand for Mainos-TV (literally "Advertisement-TV", i.e. "Commercial TV), due to the channel carrying advertising for revenue. Number 3 was added later, when the channel was allocated the third nationwide television channel and it generally became known as "Channel Three"—Finnish Broadcasting Company’s Yle TV1 and Yle TV2 being the first two—and also to distinguish it from the later MTV Finland, which is a Finnish version of Paramount's MTV channel. Pirkka-Pekka Petelius
Pirkka-Pekka Petelius (born 31 May 1953) is a Finnish actor, director, producer, screenwriter and politician. He has also released six records as a singer. He is a member of the Green League and was elected to the Finnish parliament in the 2019 election with 6,331 personal votes. Petelius's breakthrough was in Yleisradio's sketch series '' Velipuolikuu'' (1983), which he wrote and also acted in. The popularity gained by the series started Petelius's career as one of the most well-known comedians in Finland. He gained immense popularity due to his work in the sketch series '' Pulttibois'' (and its sequel, ''Manitbois'') with Aake Kalliala. Despite being known as a comedian Petelius has also acted in several more serious roles in films and television, especially in the recent years. Vesa Tapio Vierikko (born 24 May 1956 in Lappeenranta, Finland) is a Finnish actor. Vierikko began acting in 1978 on television working consistently throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He starred in the 2003 film ''Sibelius'' working with Finnish director Timo Koivusalo and actors such as Martti Suosalo, Heikki Nousiainen and Seela Sella and Miina Turunen. He once again worked with director Koivusalo in ''Kaksipäisen kotkan varjossa'' in 2005. More recently in 2006 he has starred in over 16 episodes of ''Akkaa päälle''.
