Aki Izumi
, a.k.a. (born May 15, 1960), is a Japanese actress especially known for her roles in ''pink film''. Izumi made her ''pink film'' debut in October 1980 in produced by Shishi Pro () and released by Toei. In the next four years, Aki appeared in about sixty pink films primarily for the Shintōhō Eiga and Million Film studios. In November 1981 she had a role in actress Rumi Tama's debut as a director in the ''pink film'' distributed by Million Film. Aki starred in two low-budget films directed by Hiroki Hirakawa, the August 1982 and the April 1983 production for Million Film. In June 1984 Aki starred in , an entry in Nikkatsu's Roman Porno series, directed by Genji Nakamura, one of "The Three Pillars Of Pink". Shintōhō Eiga
is a Japanese pink film production company and film distributor located in Tokyo, Japan which has been among the most influential studios in the pink film genre since its beginnings. Foundation The first Shintōhō, or "New Toho", also known as , was formed as an offshoot of the Toho Company after World War II. When this company went bankrupt in May 1961, two new companies were created in its place. Shintōhō's former president, Mitsuru Ōkura, formed the Ōkura Eiga studio (later OP Eiga) after buying the Shintōhō production facilities in Setagaya, Tokyo while Kōichi Gotō, a Shintōhō employee at the company's Kansai sales office in Osaka, bought the rights to the name of the company. Along with OP Eiga, Shintōhō Eiga, Kantō and Kōji Wakamatsu's production studio, Million Film was one of the most influential on the genre during its first decade. (also, ) ''aka'' is a Japanese film director, actress, and screenwriter, known for her work in the ''pink film'' genre. After making her acting debut in 1965, she appeared in independent ''pink films'' throughout the rest of the decade, often for director Akitaka Kimata, whom she would later marry, and his son Seiji Izumi. Tama took a brief retirement in the early 1970s, then began appearing in films in Nikkatsu's ''Roman Porno'' series in 1975. She began directing in 1981, helming at least 80 films as of 2002.
