Air Component Command
Air Component Command ( sv, Flygvapnets taktiska stab, FTS) was a part of the Joint Forces Command of the Swedish Armed Forces. The staff was located at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters in Stockholm. The Air Component Command commanded the operations of the Swedish Air Force. History On 30 June 1994, the Air Staff was dissolved and ceased as a staff and authority. In its place, on 1 July 1994, the Air Force Command (''Flygvapenledningen'') was formed in the newly established Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters and the Air Tactical Center (''Flygvapnets taktiska centrum'') in Linköping. The Air Force Command, which was part of the newly established Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters, was a production unit which sorted directly under the authority of the head of the agency, that is, the Supreme Commander. Lars-Erik Englund
Lieutenant General Lars-Erik Englund (23 March 1934 – 19 October 2010) was a Swedish Air Force officer. His senior appointments included military commander of the Upper Norrland Military District (Milo ÖN) from 1986 to 1988 and Chief of the Air Force/ Chief of Air Force Command from 1988 to 1994. Early life Englund was born on 23 March 1934 in Orsa, the son of Gunnar and his wife Berta Englund. The Englund family lived in Orsa until he had passed the first year of primary school ( ''småskola''). Then the family moved to Sya and he got to go to secondary school ( ''realskola'') in Linköping. Lieutenant General Carl-Johan Edström (born 21 May 1967) is a Swedish Air Force officer. He currently serves as Chief of Joint Operations since 1 January 2023. Prior to that Edström served as Chief of Air Force from 2019 to 2022. Micael Bydén
General Per Micael Bydén (born 13 June 1964) is the Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces, appointed on 11 September 2015. He was earlier senior commander in the Swedish Air Force. Jan Andersson (Swedish Air Force Officer)
Major General Jan Robert Andreas Andersson (born 22 July 1955) is a retired Swedish Air Force officer. He served as Inspector of the Air Force from 2003 to 2008. Anders Silwer
Lieutenant General Anders Tommy Silwer (born 20 January 1959) is a retired Swedish Air Force officer. His last position was as the Chief of Armed Forces Training & Procurement from 2014 to 2017. Brigadier General Ingvar ''Lennart'' Pettersson (born 1 February 1951) is a retired Swedish Air Force officer and former modern pentathlete. He competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the team event.
