Ahmet Sendil
Ahmet Sendil is a Turkish music producer, remixer and DJ who was an influential part of Electronic Music scene in Turkey in the late 1980s and a leading performer and producer of minimal since the early 1990s. Early life Ahmet Sendil was born on 16 October 1973 in Antalya, Turkey. Musical career Taking an interest in the newly introduced electronic music genre, Şendil started his musical career in 1989. He was amongst the pioneers of Electronic Music in Turkey, DJing at Studio 54 Istanbul, one of the first nightclubs in Turkey. In the 1990s, he played in almost every major club in Turkey, including X-tacy, Club 12, Moonlight and High End. He was offered being the resident DJ for Switch Club, then the largest club in Istanbul, which he accepted in 2000. In 2007, Sendil formed his record labels M-Vitamine and Bosphorus Underground Recordings. 12 de Octubre Football Club is a Paraguayan football club from the city of Itauguá that currently plays in the División Intermedia, the second division of Football in Paraguay. Red Snapper (band)
Red Snapper are a British instrumental band founded in London in 1993 by Ali Friend (double bass), Richard Thair (drums), and David Ayers (guitar). The three core members are also joined by various guest musicians and vocalists on different records. Since the 2007 reunion Tom Challenger (saxophone) has also been a member of the band. According to music journalist Jason Ankeny of AllMusic, "the British acid jazz trio renotable for their pioneering synthesis of acoustic instruments and electronic textures". Derrick May (born April 6, 1963), also known as Mayday and Is , is an American electronic musician from Belleville, Michigan, United States. May is credited with pioneering techno music in the 1980s along with collaborators Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, commonly known as The Belleville Three. According to Sal Cinquemani of ''American Songwriter'', May is "one of the most influential of Detroit’s wiz kids." Biography Early life May is an only child born to a single mother in Detroit. Darren Roach (born December 29, 1986, in Saint John, New Brunswick) is a Canadian curler. He currently throws third stones for the Jason Roach rink from Saint John, New Brunswick. Roach twice (2004 and 2005) won the New Brunswick men's junior championships playing second on a team skipped by Ryan Sherrard. The team won the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in their first attempt in 2004. They had finished the round robin with a 9–3 record, in a three way tie for first. The team would go on to win both of their playoff games, including the final against Manitoba's Daley Peters. The team then represented Canada at the 2004 World Junior Curling Championships. Stacey Pullen is an American techno musician based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Pullen was raised in Detroit, where he became interested in electronic music early in his life. He began working on the Detroit techno scene in 1990, studying with Derrick May (musician), Derrick May and working with him on business ventures. He used the aliases Bango, Kosmik Messenger, X-Stacy and Silent Phase. Creamfields
Creamfields is an electronic dance music festival series founded and organised by British club promoter Cream, with its UK edition taking place on August Bank Holiday weekend, with a number of international editions held across various territories worldwide. Dance Valley ("The Woodstock of Dance") is an annual dance music festival organised by United Dance Company (UDC) in the summer in Spaarnwoude, Netherlands. The first edition was in 1995 when 8,000 people attended (and in 2001 90,000 visitors). Dance Valley grew rapidly, both in duration and number of visitors.
