Ahmed Usman Ododo
Ahmed Usman Ododo (born 7 February 1982) is a Nigerian accountant and politician who has served as the governor of Kogi State since 2024. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress. Before he was elected governor of Kogi state, he served as the auditor-general for local governments in Kogi State, overseeing the financial audit of local government councils in the state. Education and early career Ododo studied Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and got his PhD from the University of Lagos. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is a federal government research university in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. ABU was founded on 4 October 1962, as the pioneer university in Northern Nigeria.
