Tumlingtar () is a region and a town, in Sankhuwasabha district of Province No. 1 of Eastern Nepal, between the Arun and Sabha rivers. It is located in Sankhuwasabha District. It is also the deepest valley of the world and largest ''ṭār'' (butte or mesa) of Nepal. Demographics The indigenous tribe of Tumlingtar is Kumal. Their traditional profession is pot-making, though only a few still practise this career nowadays. The other tribes living there are Bahun, Chhetri, Magar, Rai, Tamang, Newar and Majhi. Lukla ( ne, लुक्ला ) is a small town in the Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality of the Solukhumbu District in the Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. Situated at , it is a popular place for visitors to the Himalayas near Mount Everest to arrive. Although Lukla means ''place with many goats and sheep'', few are found in the area nowadays. Jomsom (), (Ward No. 4 of Gharpajhong Rural Municipality) also known as Dzongsam (New Fort) is the centre of Gharapjhong rural municipality in Mustang district and a former independent village development committee situated at an altitude of about in Gandaki Province of western Nepal.
