"Afto Ton Kero" (; ) is a song recorded by Greek Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou. It was released on 10 March 2017. The song is written and produced by Michalis Kouinelis. Background and release The song was first teased when Adamou posted a photo from the shooting of its music video. During an interview on the ANT1 talk show ''The 2Night Show,'' a short clip from the song was shown. The teaser was officially released on 6 March 2017 along with the title of the song, "Afto Ton Kero". Music video The music video for the song was shot in January 2017; Adamou posted a photo from the shooting of the music video on 27 January 2017. It was released on the same day the song was released digitally, on 10 March 2017. The video was directed by Dimitris Sylvestros, who also directed the music videos for Adamou's two previous singles, "Tipota De Mas Stamata" and "Akou Sopa". Ivi Adamou ( el, Ήβη Αδάμου, ; born 24 November 1993) is a Greek-Cypriot singer. She was born and raised in Agia Napa, Cyprus and currently resides in Alexandroupoli, Greece. Adamou rose to recognition in Greece and Cyprus following her participation in the The X Factor (Greece series 2), second season of the The X Factor (Greece), Greek version of ''The X Factor (TV series), The X Factor'', where she was under the mentorship of Giorgos Theofanous. Right after her elimination from the X Factor, Adamou secured a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Greece. Michalis Kouinelis ( el, Μιχάλης Κουϊνέλης; born 22 March 1979), also known as Stavento or Mike, is a Greek rapper and the lead singer of the hip hop group Stavento. "Akou Sopa" ( el, Άκου σώπα; en, Listen hush) is a song recorded by Greek Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou. It is a cover of the Spanish song "Un Bonito Final" originally by Los Rebujitos. The song was written by Los Rebujitos member Yerai Blanco García with Sunny Baltzi and Michalis Kouinelis writing the Greek lyrics for Adamou's version. It was digitally released on 18 July 2016 through the iTunes Store. "Akou Sopa" received critical acclaim from critics, who praised the song's melodic sounds and also compared it with the original version. Ivi Adamou at Stockholm Pride in 2012 Cypriot singer Ivi Adamou has recorded material for one studio album and two extended plays and has been featured on songs on other artists respective albums. Adamou's first album, ''Kalokairi Stin Kardia'', was released in 2010 and was an EP that included seven tracks with additionally two karaoke versions and one remix.
