Afri-Cola
Afri Cola is a cola soft drink produced in Germany. The trademark Afri-Cola was registered in 1931 by the company F. Blumhoffer Nachfolger GmbH. The same company also produced Bluna, an orange soft drink. Today the brand belongs to the Mineralbrunnen Überkingen-Teinach AG. Premium-Cola
Premium-Cola is a soft drink brand founded on November 23, 2001, in Hamburg, Germany, by a collective of fans of the German brand Afri-Cola, at the time reduced in caffeine. The collective (which named itself "Interessengruppe Premium") started by running a protest campaign for more than two years against recipe changes in Afri-Cola. The brand, founded in 1931, was bought by Mineralbrunnen Überkingen-Teinach AG in 1999, who would then change the recipe. The new Afri-Cola, Afri-cola contained a reduced amount of caffeine (the original Afri-Cola, Afri-cola contained 250 mg/L) and its original taste was subdued, in order to appeal to a wider variety of customers. The protests of the "Interessengruppe Premium" began to produce the original recipe cola on their own and named it Premium-Cola. Bluna
Bluna is an orange soft drink produced by the German company ''Mineralbrunnen Überkingen-Teinach AG'', the same company that produces the better-known Afri-Cola. In 1952, the company ''F. Blumhoffer Nachfolger GmbH'' started to produce Bluna. It became a hit among consumers. In 1965, it also started being sold in cans. In 2021, the company began selling Bluna syrup for use in at-home soda machines. Today, Bluna is sold in four flavors: orange (the original flavor), lime, lemon, and mandarin orange. It is sold in both 1- or 2-Liter bottles in stores and smaller 0.33-Liter bottles for restaurants. Advertisement slogans for Bluna like "Sind wir nicht alle ein bisschen Bluna?" ("Aren't we all a bit Bluna?") and "Wie Bluna bist Du?" Volker Kutscher (; born 26 December 1962) is a German novelist, best known for his Berlin-based ''Gereon Rath'' crime series, which serves as the basis for the Sky thriller series ''Babylon Berlin''.
