"Adán y Eva" is a song by Argentine rapper Paulo Londra. Released by Warner Latina and Big Ligas on 5 November 2018, it was written by Londra, Cristian Salazar and Ovy on the Drums, who also produced the song. The song title makes reference to the Abrahamic characters, Adam and Eve. With "Adán y Eva", Londra became the first and only artist to top the ''Billboard'' Argentina Hot 100 chart on two occasions, the first time with " Cuando Te Besé" in October, 2018. The song also reached number one in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Spain and Uruguay. Background In a podcast interview with Argentine journalist Juan Pablo Varsky, Londra revealed that he had originally planned to release another song after " Cuando Te Besé", his collaboration with Becky G, however, after showing "Adán y Eva" to his grandmother, who liked it very much, he decided to contact his producer to tell her that they should move up the release of the single. Paulo Ezequiel Londra (born April 12, 1998) is an Argentine rapper and singer. His music has topped Argentine charts and has been highly successful across Argentina and Latin America. Early life Londra was inspired to become a rap artist by watching Eminem's ''8 Mile (film), 8 Mile'' film. The urge to interpret his lyrics outside of a recording studio led him to improvise and rap in Argentinian squares with friends, gradually creating a local buzz. At the age of 14, he performed for the first time in a freestyle competition, in a tournament known as ''Sin Escritura'' ('Without Writing'). MTV (Latin American TV Channel)
MTV is a Latin American pay television network that was launched on 1 October 1993 as the Hispanic American version of MTV. It is owned by Paramount Networks Americas, a subsidiary of Paramount Global. The channel broadcasts music videos as well as reality shows, TV series and movies, which may be directly or indirectly related to music, aimed at the youth. The MTV MIAW Awards (formerly known as the MTV Millennial Awards) are annual Latin American music awards presented by the cable network MTV Latin America to honor the best in Latin music and youth internet culture. The 21st Annual Premios Gardel ceremony were held on May 14, 2019. The TNT Latin America networks broadcast the show live from the Ángel Bustelo Auditorium in Mendoza. It was the first time that the ceremony was held outside Buenos Aires.
