Adama Bojang
Adama Bojang (born 28 May 2004) is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Reims. He was part of the Gambia squad that finished runner-up at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. Career Born in Bakau, Bojang played in the Gambian top division for Steve Biko FC. He helped the side earn promotion from the Gambian second division in 2021. In January 2023, during the second game week of the new season scored the first hat-trick of the season by any player in the Gambian First Division league, when he netted three goals in a 4–1 win over Brikama United at the Bakau Mini Stadium. Due to his form for club and country Gambia Football Federation vice-president Bakary Jammeh confirmed in the media that Bojang was generating interest from football clubs abroad, including some in Egypt and England. Bakau
Bakau is a town on the Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic coast of the Gambia, Gambia, west of Gambia's capital city of Banjul. It is known for its botanical gardens, its crocodile pool ''Bakau Kachikally'' and for the beaches at Cape Point (Gambia), Cape Point. Bakau is the first major suburb outside Banjul and the most developed town in the Gambia. Close to Bakau and Banjul is Gambia's largest city, Serekunda. The 2023-24 Championnat National 3 is the seventh season of the fifth tier in the French football league system in its current format. For this season only, the competition is contested by 154 clubs split geographically across 11 groups of 14 teams. The teams include amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. The competition starts on 27 August 2023 and is scheduled to end on 19 May 2024.
