Ada Hegerberg
Ada Martine Stolsmo Hegerberg (born 10 July 1995) is a Norwegian professional Women's association football, footballer who plays as a striker (association football), striker for the Première Ligue club Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, Lyon and the Norway women's national football team, Norway national team. She is widely regarded as one of the best footballers in the world. Hegerberg has represented Norway women's national football team, Norway at the youth international level, and made her debut for the senior team in 2011. In 2013, she was a part of the silver medalist team at the 2013 UEFA Women's Championship, 2013 UEFA European Championship. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones. The tournament began on 6 June 2015, and finished with the final on 5 July 2015 with a United States victory over Japan. The 2015 tournament saw the World Cup expanded to 24 teams from 16 in 2011. Canada's team received direct entry as host and a qualification tournament of 134 teams was held for the remaining 23 places. 2011 Toppserien
The 2011 Toppserien was the 28th season of top-tier women's football in Norway. A total of twelve teams contested the league, consisting of ten who competed in the previous season and two promoted from the 1. divisjon. The season started on 2 April 2011 and ended on 29 October 2011. Changes from 2010 * Norway overtook Iceland in the UEFA coefficient rankings for eighth spot in the 2012–13 European season. The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984 1. divisjon (women), 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Østlandet, Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Vestlandet, Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Trøndelag, Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. Røa IL
Røa IL is a Norwegian sports club from Røa in the borough of Vestre Aker, Oslo. It was founded on 11 November 1900, and has sections for football, gymnastics, bandy, and cross-country skiing. Football, bandy, and Nordic skiing have been dominant in Røa. In bandy, the team has twice made it to the finals in the Norwegian cup, losing both to arch-rivals Stabæk. In skiing, the two foremost names are Olav Hansson, world champion team large hill ski jumping in the 1982 World Ski Championships and Martin Johnsrud Sundby, a Norwegian national team cross-country skier who won the FIS Cross-Country World Cup and the Tour de Ski in 2013–14. Andrine Hegerberg
Andrine Stolsmo Hegerberg (born 6 June 1993) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Hegerberg was raised in Sunndal Municipality and played for Sunndal Fotball together with her younger sister Ada. In 2007, their family moved to Kolbotn, where the sisters joined the youth-ranks of Kolbotn IL. Ahead of the 2009 season, the 16-year-old Hegerberg was promoted to the first-team squad and signed a professional contract with Kolbotn, and subsequently made her debut in the Toppserien on 27 September 2009 during a 2–1 win against Fløya. The sisters were early considered as two of the most talented footballers in Norway, and in July 2011 Andrine won the Statoil ''Talent of the Month'' award. is the administrative centre of Sunndal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village of Sunndalsøra lies at the mouth of the river Driva at the beginning of the Sunndalsfjord.
