Ada Hautala
Ada Hautala (born 14 October 2003) is a Finnish artistic gymnast. She represented Finland at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and is the 2019 Finnish national champion. Early life Hautala was born in Liminka, Finland. She began training in gymnastics in 2010. Junior gymnastics career 2016–17 Hautala competed at the 2016 Finnish national championships where she placed tenth in the all-around but first on balance beam. She later competed at the Mälarcupen where she placed tenth. In 2017 Hautala won her first junior national title at the Finnish national championships. She next competed at the Nordic Championships where she helped Finland finish first as a team and individually placed tenth. At the 2017 European Youth Olympic Festival Hautala helped Finland place 13th. 2018 Hautala competed at the Finnish National Championships where she placed second in the all-around and on vault behind Nitta Nieminen and placed first on the other three apparatuses. Gymnastics at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 16 October at the America Pavilion in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Qualification Summary Acrobatic Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter a maximum of 1 team of 2 athletes. As hosts, Argentina was given a team to compete, causing a reduction to the number of teams qualified from the Americas. The remaining 11 teams were to be decided at the 2018 Acrobatics World Championships. Host Argentina declined the quota while no nation from Oceania competed. The United States declined the quota, and thus the two places were reallocated to Asia and Europe. Enni Kettunen
Enni Ben'en (圓爾辯圓, pinyin: ''Yuán'ěr Biànyuán''; 1 November 1202 – 10 November 1280), also known as Shōichi Kokushi, was a Japanese Buddhist monk. He started his Buddhist training as a Tendai monk. While he was studying with Eisai, a vision of Sugawara no Michizane appeared to him in a dream and told him to go to China and study meditation. Following this vision, he met the Rinzai teacher Wuzhun Shifan in China, and studied Mahayana with him. When he returned to Japan, he founded Tōfuku-ji monastery in Kyoto, and practiced Zen as well as other types of Buddhism. His disciples included Mujū. Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, which is considered an apparatus. It is used by both male and female gymnasts. The gymnastics event performed on the floor is called floor exercise. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is FX. A spring floor is used in all of gymnastics to provide more bounce, and also help prevent potential injuries to lower extremity joints of gymnasts due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. Gymnastics Balance Beam
The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. Both the apparatus and the event are sometimes simply referred to as "beam". The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood.
