Acid (YouTuber)
Nathan Vandergunst (born 29 June 1999), known professionally as Acid (pronounced ), is a Belgian YouTuber. He started his YouTube channel at the age of 13 in January 2013. He lives in Blankenberge, a seaside city in the Belgian province of West Flanders. He makes videos in Dutch. Biography Vandergunst began posting videos on the video platform YouTube, mainly videos about the third-person shooter game Qpang. At the age of 13, he started his channel "YaDsAcid", which is also the name visible on his Twitch channel. He reportedly named his channel after the character "Acid Burn" from the 1995 film Hackers. Since the start of his career, Vandergunst has had a majority Dutch audience. In order to make his videos understandable for all his viewers, he taught himself to speak Standard Dutch. Reuzegom (established 1946) was a Flemish Region, Flemish Fraternities and sororities, fraternity at KU Leuven, part of the Antwerp Guild of student societies (). It is known for a 2013 case of Cruelty to animals, animal abuse and Death of Sanda Dia, a 2018 case of psychological and physical abuse of three recruits that resulted in the death of one and the dissolution of the fraternity. History The fraternity was founded on 21 February 1946, by Frans De Meester, Remi Verselder, and Hugo Schiltz. The original name of the society was OXACO-Leuven, an abbreviation for "Leuven chapter of Xaverius College Alumni". Sanda Dia was a Belgian student who died in the Antwerp University Hospital in 2018 as a result of a Reuzegom fraternity hazing ritual in Vorselaar when he was aged 20. He was a student at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (known as "KU Leuven"). On 4 and 5 December 2018, Dia was forced to drink fish oil, over two litres of high content alcohol, was refused water, driven to a lodge and made to dig a hole that would later be filled with freezing water, while being subjected to other humiliating and degrading acts. After collapsing, he was driven to hospital where he died of multiple organ failures two days later. His death was attributed to the salt content in the fish oil he ingested, and the hypothermia he had succumbed to.
