Abuakwa State College
Abuakwa State College is a co-ed second cycle institution in Kibi in the Eastern Region of Ghana. History The school was established in 1936 by three elders of the Methodist Church at Asafo-Akyem as a preparatory institution to prepare Ghanaian students who wanted to sit the then Junior Cambridge Examination. It was relocated to Kyebi in 1937 by Nana Sir Ofori Atta I who laid the foundation stone on 11 October 1937 thus becoming the founder and father of the school, Abuakwa State College was born to enable more students especially those from Akyem Abuakwa to enroll in the school. The Ministry of Education (MOE) is a multiportfolio government ministry of Ghana, responsible for the governance and management of Ghana's education. Samuel Odoi-Sykes
Samuel Arthur Odoi-Sykes is a Ghanaian politician, diplomat and lawyer. He served as Ghana's High Commissioner to Canada from 2001 to 2006 and Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1972. He was National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party from 1998 to 2001 during which the party won its first presidential victory. Ebenezer Moses Debrah
Ebenezer Moses Debrah (9 July 1928 – 23 May 2023) was a Ghanaian diplomat. He served as Ghana's ambassador to Ethiopia, the United States of America, and Ghana's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Australia from 1963 to 1980. Kojo Botsio
Kojo Botsio (21 February 1916 – 6 February 2001) was a Ghanaian diplomat and politician. He studied in Britain, where he became the treasurer of the West African National Secretariat and an acting warden for the West African Students' Union. He served as his country's first Minister of Education and Social Welfare from 1951, as Minister for Foreign Affairs twice in the government of Kwame Nkrumah, and was a leading figure in the ruling Convention People's Party (CPP). Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah is a licensed Ghanaian criminologist, mediator, management consultant, and human rights advocate. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party of Ghana.
