In August 2015, Century Media was acquired by Sony Music for US$17 million. A logo (abbreviation of logotype; ) is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol used to aid and promote public identification and recognition. Diecast is an American metalcore band originating from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1997. They play a style of metalcore with a "blend of melody and heavy rock." History Formed in Boston in 1997, Diecast was originally established as a four-piece group featuring vocalist Colin Schleifer, guitarist Nassim Rizvi, bassist Jeremy Wooden, and drummer Jason Costa. The band's first release ''Perpetual War'' was recorded by Brian McTiernan (of Salad Days fame) and released independently in 1997. The demo was recorded to cassette and is now a collectors item. Winds of Plague is an American deathcore band from Upland, California. Formed in 2002, the band is known for being the first of several deathcore bands to incorporate symphonic elements into their music. The band's name is derived from a section of lyrics in the Unearth song " Endless": "Growing wings of sorrow/have brought you to the winds of plague." Warbringer
Warbringer is an American thrash metal band formed in 2004. Century Media Records signed Warbringer after seeing them at a local show in LA. Originally, a Century Media rep was at the show to see another LA thrash metal band but decided to sign Warbringer instead. Warbringer's second album '' Waking into Nightmares'' was released on May 19, 2009. The album reached No. 14 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Shadows Fall is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1996. Although Shadows Fall has experienced several line-up changes, for most of its recording career, Shadows Fall has been composed of guitarists Jon Donais and Matt Bachand, bassist Paul Romanko, lead vocalist Brian Fair and drummer Jason Bittner. Nevermore
Nevermore is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1992. The band was formed after three of its members — vocalist Warrel Dane, bassist Jim Sheppard and guitarist Jeff Loomis — ended their previous band Sanctuary (band), Sanctuary, and had several drummers before hiring Van Williams (musician), Van Williams in 1994. Nevermore has experienced numerous lineup changes, and as of 2024, Loomis is the only remaining original member. Moonspell is a Portuguese gothic metal band formed in 1992. The group released their first EP, '' Under the Moonspell'', in 1994 and followed up with their debut album, '' Wolfheart'', a year later. In This Moment is an American Rock music, rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell.
