Aaron-Carl Ragland (August 19, 1973 – September 30, 2010), better known simply as Aaron-Carl, was an American electronic dance musician. In 1999, he was the founder of the Detroit-baseWallshaker Music an independent record label and music production company specializing in soulful house music, and oCherry Juice Recordings its European, Amsterdam-based, more Pop, record label. He was founder and CEO of W.A.R.M.T.H. International Inc. In addition to his own label, he also released materials on such respected labels as Ovum and the Underground Resistance, a sub-label Soul City as well as Rebirth, Metroplex, Subject Detroit and Universal France. He remixed many Detroit techno artists, like Underground Resistance (band), Underground Resistance, Scan 7, DJ Bone, Aux 88 & Kelli Hand. David Maurice Clarke (born 19 September 1968) is an English electronic music DJ, producer and radio presenter. BBC radio presenter John Peel named Clarke "The Baron of Techno". Early life Born in Brighton, East Sussex, England, Clarke was educated at Brighton College, but moved out of home at the age of 16 after his parents separated. Since the age of 8, Clarke has been interested in music and technology, and to him, "there was no alternative but to go professional." Kevin Maurice Saunderson (born September 5, 1964) is an American electronic dance music Dj and record producer. He is famous for being a member of a trio, along with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, who came to be known as The Belleville Three, who is often credited to being among the pioneers and originators of techno: in particular this act helped define Detroit techno, the earliest style of this music genre. Born in New York, at the age of nine he moved to Belleville, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, where at Belleville High School he befriended the other members of the trio. Laurent & Lewis is a musical duo composed of Laurent Chambon and Lewis de Janeiro. The first is French, the other is American-Portuguese. They live in The Netherlands. Their music is a mix of Pop, House Music, Techno and ethnic music. "Above Horizons" is a 2009 song by CeCe Peniston, and the official PTA anthem as a tribute to the families, teachers and communities who help children reach their dreams through the PTA, which resulted from the singer's role being named a National Ambassador of the US volunteer child advocacy organization. The ballad was released on the organization's recording label, National PTA Recordings in June 2009 as its first music release, that included overall four versions. Two mixes of the song were produced by a Detroit house music producer and DJ, Aaron-Carl Ragland, not long before his death.
