A Bolha
A Bolha (The Bubble) is a Brazilian rock (music) band that formed in 1965 as The Bubbles. History The Band was started by Cesar and Renato Ladeira in 1965. They started out only playing cover songs and in 1966 released their first single, ''The Bubbles'', which consisted of 2 cover songs by The Rolling Stones and Los Shakers. In 1970 they changed their name to A Bolha and the band now consisted of Renato Ladeira on keyboard, Pedro Lima on guitar, Arnaldo Brandão on bass and Gustavo Schroeter on drums. In 1971 their next single, ''Sem Nada'', was released, and in 1973 their first LP ''Um Passo à Frente'' was recorded and released. In 1977 their next LP, ''É Proibido Fumar'' was released. After 30 years of not recording they finally released a CD in 2007 called ''É so curtir''. Gal Maria da Graça Costa Penna Burgos (born Maria da Graça Costa Penna Burgos; 26 September 1945 – 9 November 2022), known professionally as Gal Costa (), was a Brazilian singer of popular music. She was one of the main figures of the tropicalia music scene in Brazil in the late 1960s and appeared on the acclaimed compilation '' Tropicália: ou Panis et Circenses'' (1968). Raul Seixas
Raul Santos Seixas (; 28 June 1945 – 21 August 1989) allmusic Biography/ref> was a Brazilian rock composer, singer, songwriter and producer. He is sometimes called the "Father of Brazilian Rock" and "Maluco Beleza", the last one roughly translated as "Groovy Nutcase". He was born in Salvador (Bahia), Brazil, and died of pancreatitis in São Paulo. Erasmo Carlos (born Erasmo Esteves; 5 June 1941 – 22 November 2022) was a Brazilian singer and songwriter, most closely associated with his friend and longtime collaborator Roberto Carlos (no relation). Los Shakers
Los Shakers were a popular rock band in the 1960s and was a part of the Uruguayan Invasion in Latin America. They were heavily influenced by the look and sound of The Beatles. In the late 1960s they would broaden and expand their musical direction before breaking up in 1969. History The band was formed in 1964 in Montevideo, Uruguay by brothers Hugo (lead guitar and keyboards) and Osvaldo Fattoruso (rhythm guitar), after watching the movie '' A Hard Day's Night'' starring The Beatles. They were modeled after The Beatles and even adopted similar haircuts and clothing.
