AKM Nazmul Hasan
A.K.M Nazmul Hasan is a retired major general in the Bangladesh Army and was Commandant of East Bengal Regimental Centre. Prior to that, he served as the Director General of the Special Security Force. Before that, he was the 24th Director General of the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB). He also served as the Director General of the Bangladesh Ansar and the Village Defence Party. He was General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11th Infantry Division (Bangladesh), 11th Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogura Area. Bangladesh Army
The Bangladesh Army () is the land warfare branch, and the largest component of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The primary mission of the Army is to defend the land of Bangladesh from any external attack. Control of personnel and operations is administered by the Army Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment. Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui
Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui is a two star officer in the Bangladesh Army. He is the incumbent director general of the Border Guard Bangladesh and current chairman of Shimanto Bank. Siddique was the former chairman of the Army Sports Control Board and the director of the Internal Affairs Bureau of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence. Early life and education Siddique was born into Bengali Muslims family of Rangpur, Bangladesh. His paternal grandfather hailed from Balurghat of West Dinajpur district (now in West Bengal, India) and migrated to Rangpur during the Partition of Bengal on 1947. The United Nations Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNMIBH) was a United Nations peacekeeping mission formed under the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1035 on 21 December 1995. It completed its mandate on 31 December 2002, when it was succeeded by the European Union Police Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 11th Infantry Division () is a formation of the Bangladesh Army. It has the Bogra Cantonment, the Jahangirabad Cantonment and the Qadriabad Cantonment under its command. The Bogra Cantonment is the HQ of this division. History 11th Infantry Division was inaugurated on 29 March 1976 by then chief of army staff Lieutenant General Ziaur Rahman and appointed Major General Abu Zafar Chowdhury as first general officer commanding. The Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (; also known as the Ansar Bahini or Ansar VDP) is a paramilitary auxiliary force responsible for the preservation of internal security and law enforcement in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Infantry Regiment
The Bangladesh Infantry Regiment (BIR) is an infantry regiment of the Bangladesh Army. It was raised in 2001 as the second infantry regiment after the East Bengal Regiment. The regiment was raised initially by renaming some battalions of the East Bengal Regiment, before its own recruits were trained.
