AGROunia
The AGROunion (, AU) is a left-wing politics, left-wing agrarian socialism, agrarian socialist political movement in Poland formed by Michał Kołodziejczak. AGROunia criticizes the actions of current politicians in relation to the state of agriculture in Poland and organizes agricultural protests and information campaigns. The party declares to be built on agrarian socialism, agrarian socialist ideals and to have taken inspiration from the left-wing nationalism, left-wing nationalist Self-Defence of the Republic of Poland, Samoobrona movement, Fighting Solidarity, as well as pre-war agrarian movements such as Polish People's Party "Wyzwolenie". Officially registered in 2022, the party became a socialist party with agrarian and Catholic overtones, with the leader of the party stating in 2022 that "faith, tradition, and Mary, mother of Jesus, Saint Mary herself are all elements of socialism for me". The Civic Coalition (, KO) is a big tent political alliance currently ruling in Poland. The alliance was formed in 2018 around Civic Platform, in opposition to the then-ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. History The Civic Coalition was originally created by the Civic Platform and Modern parties for 2018 local elections. In June 2019, it was announced that the Civic Coalition would be slated to participate in the 2019 Polish parliamentary election and Civic Platform and Modern would form a joint parliamentary club. Michał Kołodziejczak
Michał Kołodziejczak (born 14 September 1988) is a Polish politician and founder of AGROunia. He served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture from 2023 to 2025. Early life Kołodziejczak started working as a farmer after graduating from Kazimierz Jagiellończyk School in Sieradz. Political career In 2014, Kołodziejczak was elected as a councilor of Błaszki, Łódź Voivodeship, but excluded from the party one year later due to organizing protests. In 2018, he established the Unia Warzywno-Ziemniaczana association, which organised protests of the agricultural community against the PiS government's policy on the fight against the African swine fever virus, and against low purchase prices of agricultural produce in the Łódź Voivodeship. 2023 Polish Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 15 October 2023 to elect members of the Sejm and Senate of Poland, Senate. A 2023 Polish referendum, referendum containing four questions concerning economic and immigration policy of the government was held simultaneously. 2019 Polish Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 13 October 2019. All 460 members of the Sejm and 100 senators of the Senate of Poland, Senate were elected. The ruling right-wing Law and Justice (Poland), Law and Justice (PiS) won re-election to a second term retaining its majority in the Sejm.
