AFC Asian Cup Awards
At the end of each AFC Asian Cup final tournament, several awards are presented to the players and teams which have distinguished themselves in various aspects of the match. AFC Asian Cup
The AFC Asian Cup is the primary association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), determining the continental champion of Asia. It is the second-oldest continental football championship in the world after Copa América. The winning team becomes the champions of Asia and until 2015 qualified for the FIFA Confederations Cup. The Asian Cup was held once every four years from the 1956 AFC Asian Cup in Hong Kong until the 2004 tournament in China. However, since the Summer Olympic Games and the European Football Championship were also scheduled in the same year as the Asian Cup, the AFC decided to move their championship to a less crowded cycle. Khodadad Azizi (; born 22 June 1971) is an Iranian football coach and former player who played as a striker. Early life He lived in the Piranshahr neighborhood of Mashhad. As a child, he played soccer with mismatched pair of shoes and at the age of 11, he worked as a construction worker with his brother to support himself. 2023 AFC Asian Cup
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup was the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international Association football, football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It involved 24 national teams after its expansion in 2019 AFC Asian Cup, 2019, with hosts Qatar national football team, Qatar the defending champions. On 17 October 2022, the AFC announced that the tournament would be held in Qatar, replacing the original hosts China. 2019 AFC Asian Cup
The 2019 AFC Asian Cup (or commonly called the Asian Cup 2019) was the 17th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international association football, football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in the United Arab Emirates from 5 January to 1 February 2019. For the first time, 24 teams competed for the title, replacing the 16-team format used from 2004 AFC Asian Cup, 2004 to 2015 AFC Asian Cup, 2015. Massimo Corey Luongo ( ; born 25 September 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for the Australia national team. He is currently a free agent. Keisuke Honda is a Japanese former professional footballer and manager who played as a midfielder. Shunsuke Nakamura
is a Japanese former professional footballer. He is currently a first-team coach of Yokohama FC.
