ACS Victoria Tecuci
Asociația Club Sportiv Victoria Tecuci, commonly known as Victoria Tecuci, was a Romanian football club based in Tecuci, Romania. The club was created in 1954 and last time dissolved in 2021. History The first football match in Tecuci was played in 1926, that match also being the first match played under the floodlights and was played between ''Armata Tecuci'' and ''Armata București''. A.C.S Victoria Tecuci was founded under the name ''Voința Tecuci'' in 1954 and was the first football team from Tecuci that has ever played in a national competition. In 1956, the team promoted to Divizia C, but two years later was moved to Buzău and dissolved. Than in 1959 the club was refounded as ''Dinamo Tecuci'' and the team managed to reach the Round of 16 in the Romanian Cup, where it was defeated by Metalul Titanii București with the score of 1–8. The Cupa României ( en, Romanian Cup) is a football cup competition for Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1933–34, except during World War II. It is the country's main cup competition, being open to all clubs affiliated with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and the county football associations regardless of the league they belong to. Currently, the winner of the competition is granted a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers and plays the Supercupa României. Most finals have been held at the Stadionul Național (formerly known as "23 August"), and occasionally at other stadiums in Bucharest. During the construction of the new Stadionul Național, the final was staged each year in a different major city of the country.
