The 67th Avenue station is a local metro station, station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, Queens, it is served by the M (New York City Subway service), M train on weekdays, the R (New York City Subway service), R train at all times except nights, and the E (New York City Subway service), E and F (New York City Subway service), F trains during late nights. History The Queens Boulevard Line was one of the first lines built by the city-owned Independent Subway System (IND), and stretches between the IND Eighth Avenue Line in Manhattan and Jamaica – 179th Street (IND Queens Boulevard Line), 179th Street and Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. The Queens Boulevard Line was in part financed by a Public Works Administration (PWA) loan and grant of $25,000,000. The R160 is a class of New Technology Train subway cars built for the New York City Subway's B Division (New York City Subway), B Division. Entering service between 2006 and 2010, they replaced all R38 (New York City Subway car), R38, R40 (New York City Subway car), R40, and New York City Transit Authority, NYCT-operated R44 (New York City Subway car), R44 cars, and most R32 (New York City Subway car), R32 and R42 (New York City Subway car), R42 cars.
