''6-5=2'' is a 2013 Kannada found footage horror film, written and directed by K S Ashoka in his directoral debut. It is the first found footage film in Kannada. The plot revolves around a fatal trek accident. The film was reported to have taken its inspiration from the 1999 American independent film ''The Blair Witch Project''. The film was remade in Hindi in 2014 with the same title. Plot On 28 October 2010, Ramesh, Naveen, Shekar, Prakash, Deepa and Soumya - hailing from Mandya and Bangalore plan for a trek to an undisclosed mountain in the Western Ghats. Among them four die, one disappears, and one manages to return to civilization. Ramesh carries a Full HD camera intending to shoot a trek documentary. Produced and directed by Bharat Jain, the film stars Niharica Raizada, Prashantt Guptha, Ashrut Jain, Gaurav Paswalla, Gaurav Kothari and Disha Kapoor in lead roles. The cinematography was conducted by Sathya Hegde, a prominent cinematographer in the Kannada film industry. The film tells the story of a group of youngsters whose mountain trek goes awfully wrong. Vijay Chendoor is an Indian actor and writer who works in Kannada-language films. Career Vijay Chendoor worked as a writer for the film ''Rocky'' (2008) before making his acting debut with ''Swayam Krushi'' (2011) for which he also worked as the assistant director. Yash, whom he worked with in ''Rocky'', recommended that Chendoor stars in his film '' Lucky'' (2012). He garnered recognition for his role as Thigne in the horror film '' 6-5=2'' (2013). ''The Blair Witch Project'' is a 1999 American psychological horror film written, directed, and edited by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez. One of the most successful independent films of all time, it is a " found footage" pseudo-documentary in which three students ( Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, and Joshua Leonard) hike into the Black Hills near Burkittsville, Maryland, to shoot a documentary about a local myth known as the Blair Witch.
