K. S. Ashoka known as Ashoka is an Indian director and writer. He became popular in the wake of the success of his debut movie ''6-5=2''. It was the first found footage movie in Kannada. with the success of ''6-5=2'', the movie was remade in Hindi with same title, ''6-5=2'' and released in 2014 by different director. In Telugu, it was dubbed and released as ''Chitram Kadu Nizam''. K S Ashoka directed a second movie, '' Dia'', which was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Early life With an engineering degree from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysuru, Ashoka was working at Citibank India where he found his colleague D Krishna Chaitanya as his first movie producer. ''6-5=2'' is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language found footage horror film. The film is a remake of the 2013 Kannada film of the same name which itself was inspired by the 1999 American movie ''The Blair Witch Project''. Produced and directed by Bharat Jain, the film stars Niharica Raizada, Prashantt Guptha, Ashrut Jain, Gaurav Paswalla, Gaurav Kothari and Disha Kapoor in lead roles. Cinematography was conducted by Sathya Hegde, a prominent cinematographer in Kannada film industry. The film tells the story of a group of youngsters whose mountain trek goes awfully wrong.
