The 35th Signal Battalion - Enhanced is a reserve unit of the United States Army. The 35th provides critical battlefield communication support for combat operations worldwide. It is headquartered at the Fort Allen Armed Forces Reserve Center Fort Allen, Puerto Rico. The 35th Signal Battalion - Enhanced has four companies: HHC, A Co, B Co, and C Co. Fort Polk
Fort Polk, formerly Fort Johnson, is a United States Army installation located in Vernon Parish, Louisiana, about 10 miles (15 km) east of Leesville and 30 miles (50 km) north of DeRidder in Beauregard Parish. Named after New York soldier William Henry Johnson, the post encompasses about . Some are owned by the Department of the Army and by the U.S. Forest Service, mostly in the Kisatchie National Forest. John Parker (captain)
Captain John Parker (July 13, 1729 – September 17, 1775) was an American farmer and military officer who commanded the minutemen who fought at the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 1775. Early life John Parker was born in Lexington, Massachusetts Bay to Josiah Parker and Anna Stone. He was a descendant of Deacon Thomas Parker, founder of Reading, Massachusetts. John Parker was also the grandfather of reformer and abolitionist Theodore Parker. John Parker's experience as a soldier in the French and Indian War (Seven Years' War), at the Siege of Louisbourg and the conquest of Quebec, most likely led to his election as militia captain by the men of the town.
